ReNew ReNew is a student lead worship gathering every Monday at 6:30pm. A free dinner before worship is provided by local churches and is a central part to student fellowship. Students wishing to become involved with the Wesley Foundation should come the weekly dinner and worship since it is the best time to meet everyone. Missions - More Info Every spring break and summer, you can find Wesley Foundation students serving Christ locally, and around the world. Haiti and Beach Reach are the two most popular destinations God keeps calling students back. Hoedown The Hoedown event has been a highlight of student involvement for many years. Every fall square dancing, hay rides, and great food bring people to a small Wilmore KY farm for fun and fellowship. Students enjoy dressing as hicks from the sticks. Pumka-pocalypse The legend is true. Pumka-Pocalypse dates back to the late 1700's of Wesleyan culture where pumpkins gets thrown off the roof and smashed on the ground. Students also come for traditional apple bobing, pumpkin carving, pumpkin food, pumpkin dancing, and pumpkin throwing. Fall Retreat Every fall students enjoy a retreat to the smoky mountains of Tennessee. This event allows the hard working resident to escape from the burdens of class and refocus their attention back on God. Women's Retreat This winter we will be having a retreat for all the ladies of the Wesley Foundation. This semester's retreat is schedule for Feb. 11-13. Winter Formal A night filled with music, dancing, great food, more dancing, and guys & gals looking their best! This Winter Formal will be on Saturday, Feb. 19th. |
